Thanks so much for your interest in helping us create a tutorial! With SimCafe, we’re all a part of a large team devoted to ‘democratizing’ simulation; helping to get students and professionals more examples and experience with the world of simulation.

SimCafe started in2009 in 2009 at Cornell University, and at first included just a few tutorials to help augment existing coursework at Cornell. Now, with over 60 tutorials covering FEA and CFD using ANSYS tools as well as Matlab, SimCafe sees almost 150,000 unique visitors each year, from over 150 different countries!  Starting in the Summer of 2016, content from SimCafe will be used in a Massive Open Online Course (or MOOC, for short) that, with a partnering with ANSYS, will offer students and professionals everywhere in the world a chance to learn the basics of FEA and CFD through hands-on learning in the ANSYS.
