Fixed Support

Next, we will apply the boundary conditions to the geometry. In the graphics window, click the positive Z-Axis on the compass to look at one side of the airfoil.

In the Outline window, select Modal to bring up the Setup Menu. In the Setup Menu, select Supports > Fixed Supports. Make sure the Edge Selection Filter is selected, hold down Ctrl, and left mouse click the upper and lower edges of the airfoil you are looking at. In the details window, select Geometry > Apply.
