Spring 2016 Contributions

This semester, I am a part of the Flock Size and Count App team. Our aim is to create an app that is user-friendly and that provides real time useful interpretation of floc size distributions for performance analysis. We will be using LabVIEW software to create this app.

Fall 2015 Contributions

This semester, I am a part of the Chemical Safety team. Our aim is to create a safety materials for the operators of the plants in Honduras. We are currently researching the safety hazards and first aid procedures regarding the chemicals used in the plants, mainly PACl, calcium hypochlorite, liquid chlorine and HCl. We are also researching the available protective measures such as the use of PPE or eye washes to ensure maximum protection for the operators. The material we have created includes powerpoint presentations as well as posters about the proper use of PPE and fire diamonds.
