Review mock-ups from public digital signage team
Tobi, Sara, Keith (and Matt)
Mock ups by Matt with chargers, study rooms, today’s events, and top textbooks [how many to list and how to determine TBD-most commonly unavailable/checked out, etc] with info/tips on the bottom in landscape or portrait (though the latter is missing top textbooks)
All signs are stand-mounted in Mann; Olin has wall mounted ones in landscape and portrait
Portrait style on stand to mount on column by staff computer station in patron line of sight? user-b028bcan look up measurements he took during observation. Tobi Hineswill check on height of bookshelf that’s moving by column (Move happening on day of van Tienhoven trip)
Landscape (has to have 70-72” clearance?) could also go on pillar maybe on a swing arm
Could we also do this for Stone? Lot of windows and lot of glare. Check into it again. Maybe just display what’s happening at Stone on a smaller LCD or tablet
Brief discussion on printing queue display (can get print queue and time on current print job)
More spacing on blocks of text
Test updated versions with students

Review mock-ups from staff digital signage team
Camille, Nick, Selena, and Matt
Staff: New versions of mock up done by Nick since last staff signage meeting based on feedback
Current rooms view (what’s happening now with start and end times and what’s coming next)
Click to all day view (button or click on reservation; will include lobby tables as well as all classrooms and conference rooms); maybe version where you can go forward and back in time (2 week cut off in LibCal in the past; not sure what’s possible); changes coming: more differentiation and adding button to full view between available and patron blocks
3 data sources: LibCal, Outlook, R25
Possibility of check out from LibCal (now in Voyager; not sure what’s happening in Folio)? Future discussion
For more detail, log into LibCal (no need for people to be able to reserve or go to Spaces from here)
This is great because students won’t have to talk to staff for everything. Tobi Hines
will show the mockups to staff next Tuesday for more feedback

Had meeting with all stakeholders on ramp; Jon Ladley says our favorite ramp idea isn’t possible because of structural issues; they will give us a couple of options
Hopefully furniture ordered by end of August; 12-16 week lead time so probably winter break installation
