Steady-State Thermal Analysis System

The problem at hand is a steady-state thermal problem so drag Steady-State Thermal (ANSYS) over to the project schematic. Rename the stand alone system to "Cylindrical Heat Flow".

Engineering Data

In order to enter the thermal conductivity for Cornellium (Double Click) Engineering Data. Next, click on the Click here to add a new material, then name it Cornellium and press enter. Now, (Double Click) Isotropic Thermal Conductivity. Change, the Unit to BTU/(ft^2 hr(F/ft)). Then, input 0.04 for Value and lastly (Click) Return to Project.

Save

Save your project as "Cylindrical Heat Flow" and don't forget that in order to open the project in the future you will need both the "CylindricalHeatFlow.wbpj" file and the "CylindricalHeatFlow_files" folder.
