Parts

  • 1/4" OD tubing is used as the tubing to and from the turbidimeters and pumps as well as connected to the tube settlers
  • 6' long, 1/2" diameter PVC pipe is used to string the baffles together inside the Flocculation Tank
  • Corrugated roofing material is used to fabricate the baffles
  • Crack-Resistant Polyethylene Tubing (5/8" ID, 3/4" OD, 1/16" Wall Thickness) was used as a spacer between the baffles. Pieces were cut to size and then sliced lengthwise to snap over the PVC pipe between the baffles.

  • Circular saw (to cut baffles. Put blade on backwards to prevent baffle cracking)
