This semester, I am a part of the Floc Size and Count App team. Out aim is to combine the two functionalities (data acquisition and analysis) into one user program. We also want to design a hardware structure that could be used in the lab for floc analysis before the end of the semester so that the teams on lab could test the program and give back feedback. Our aim is to have an executable program that could be distributed to the lab and field by the end of the semester.
Spring 2016 Contributions
This semester, I was a part of the Floc Size and Count App team. Our aim was to create an app that is user-friendly and that provides real time useful interpretation of floc size distributions for performance analysis using LabVIEW. We spent some time mastering LabVIEW functionalities as well as understanding Vision plugin that enabled image specific functions to be used. I worked on the image acquisition functionality for the final program and connecting it with the image analysis functionality to form one final product.
