- A forum for communication and discussion about issues related to digital visual resources on campus, both licensed and Cornell-built collections
- Keeping abreast of metadata conventions/development in visual resource arena
- Develop policies regarding passwords, public support, collection development, reference referrals
- Developing project workflows
- Host biannual forums regarding trends and developments in vr both on campus and nationally
- Looking towards the future of vr, including multi-media objects, different delivery methods (flickr, etc), mobile/hand-held devices
- Strategic parnterships with other constituents on campus who are developing similar resources
- Outreach/promotion of collections
- Prioritize objectives, document yearly accomplishments, reassess as needed
- reporting structure/budget?--allow for evolution of group, meanwhile have oya/janet kick in funds... if they are willing.
- expand membership to include 2 rotating people in addition to stakeholder representatives
