In this tutorial we will simulate
Consider the steady state flow case of a fluid flowing past a cylinder. We will use a Reynolds number of 20. Thus the fluid velocity will be , as illustrated above. Obtain the velocity and pressure distributions when the Reynolds number is chosen to be 20. The diameter of the pipe is 1 m, the x velocity component of the velocity is 1 m/s , and the density of the fluid density will be is 1 kg/m^3. Thus, the fluid dynamic viscosity will must be set t0 0.05 kg/m*s and the pipe diameter will be 1 min order to obtain the desired Reynolds number.
