Fall 2015 Contributions

This semester I am part of the Flocculator Efficiency sub-team, which will aim to understand and address dead spaces and regions of poor mixing in the flocculator tank. Our team goal is first to design a scale model of this system and use dye to visualizes areas with different flow characteristics. Then we will incorporate new obstacles between the tank's baffles to increase pressure and force water into the dead spaces. As Team Coordinator this semester, my personal tasks will include facilitating team meetings and setting weekly goals to ensure we stick to our timeline.
