Launch Identity Finder software and ensure correct version installed
Expect version "9.1.4" or "9.1.4.0", depending on how checked.
- Open program by clicking on Windows Start Menu and typing Identity Finder.
- Once program is open, click on File, then About.
- OR: View "Add or remove programs" to see the version without having to launch it first.
Enter shared security code (don't store results)
- scan22
- Note: It's all lower-case, one-word.

Change what gets scanned, and where it scans
In Advanced configuration screen, click on Data Types tab and:
- De-select:
- Select:
- What to change, from defaults?
- Summary of all which should be selected?
Insert USB thumb drive and change setting to "don't scan"
- Or, can this be done via a setting?
