Google's Project 10^100

One of our major grant submissions for Fall 2008 is the Google Project 10 to the 100th submission. This included a 30 second video that can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qk1v3l9Xp0s. We encourage you to watch this video and also send it to people you know. This is another great way to get the word out about AguaClara and what we do.

If our idea is selected to be one of the 100 ideas for the public to vote on, voting will begin on January 27, 2009.

Winners: At least 5 winners split $10,000,000

King Hassan II Great World Water Prize

During the Fall 2008 we applied for the the World Water Prize.

"The King Hassan II Great World Water Prize is an international award jointly established by the Government of Morocco and the World Water Council, in memory of his Majesty King Hassan II of Morocco's distinguished leadership and encouragement of cooperation and sound management of water resources."

Winner: $100,000 dollars.
Frequency: Recurs every 3 years.

EPA - P3 Award Program

P3 Awards: A National Student Design Competition for Sustainability Focusing on People, Prosperity and the Planet
Awards undergraduate and graduate student teams funding for year long projects. For example this year we are applying for the Phase I project which is a $10,000 award to be used from August 2009 - August 2010.

Applications are accepted September 22 - December 23. The application is comprehensive and should be given ample time to be completed.
