Fall 2008 Goals
- Assess the effectiveness and feasibility of computational vs. experimental approach; Decide on whether to create computational simulations or/and to build physical models
- Consult CFD team members and faculty
- Do literature research
- Decide on the approach (computational simulation, or experimental tests, or adopt both experimental and computational approaches)
- Learn to use Gambit and Fluent to build flow field model and run simulation
- Go through Fluent tutorials and play with basic problems
- Do literature research
- Set up the mesh for simulation
