Since I have experience with photoshop programs and working on logos, I
have been primarily assigned to put together posters (used for conferences
and for the new poster that will be placed at the entrance of Hollister),
new/updated literature, and a new logo.  Creating posters has been a
challenging project for me not only because I have had to go through many
drafts and layouts to reach the final design, but also because I am new to
the Aguaclara team and am not an engineer.

Being new to the project and a student from the Hotel School, I had a very
difficult time trying to understand the information that I was looking at
and was going to be using on outreach projects.  As a result, I have spent
most of my time looking into the AguaClara work to get a general
understanding of what Aguaclara is about and how the water becomes potable.  I
have done this by reviewing information from class, on the Wiki (powerpoints, team brochures,
summaries), on the old website, from models set up. By gaining a
better understanding of the project, I feel that I will be able to better
promote Aguaclara in outreach projects and while fundraising so that the
project may be able to continue financially.

During the rest of the semester, I plan to accomplish 5 things: gain
better knowledge of the processes involved, visit the demo plant, work with Elena to create a
new logo for aguaclara, create a new poster for the Hollister Hall
entrance, and raise money and awareness so that Aguaclara will never be
lacking of financial or student support
