  1. Return to Workbench -> Component Systems -> Results(Drag into Project Schematic) -> Open Results
  2. Click on import data button -> Load complete history as -> "a single case"

  1. Right click on wall_artery > Edit
  2. Click on the Render > Transparency 0.7
  3. On the top toolbar, click on the vector icon
    1. Name it Velocity Vector
    2. For the Location in the Geometry tab, select fluid_zone
    3. Click Apply

Summary of the above video:

  1. Turn off Velocity Vector by unchecking the box next to Velocity Vector
  2. Go to File > Import > Import FLUENT Particle Track File
  3. Browse for part
  4. Double click on the particle track
  5. Go to Color tab
    1. For Variable, choose Velocity
    2. Apply
  6. Go to Symbol tab
    1. Check the box Show Symbols
    2. For Max Time is, choose Current Time
    3. For Scale, type 0.5
    4. Apply
  7. To animate this particle, click on the Animation icon next to the clock icon
    1. Click FLUENT PT for massless
    2. Press play to preview
    3. To save video, check box Save Movie
    4. Choose the speed of the video you want to playback
    5. To start the animation that will be saved, press play
    6. When you reach your desired time, press stop

  1. Double click on FLUENT PT for Massless to turn it off
  2. Click on Location > select Surface Group
    1. Name it Artery Wall 
    2. Under Geometry tab, choose wall_artery
    3. Under Color tab, choose Variable Wall Shear
    4. Apply
  3. To animate, click on the Animation icon
    1. Repeat the process from the previous tutorial to produce a video

  1. Turn off artery_wall
  2. Click on Location > select Isosurface
    1. Name it XY Plane
    2. Under Geometry tab, choose Variable Z
    3. For Value, drag the slider to the most left smallest value
    4. Under Color tab, change Mode to Variable
    5. For Variable, choose Velocity
    6. Apply
  3. Click on Animation Icon
    1. Click on XY Plane for animation
    2. Repeat process from previous tutorial videos

Plot contours at specific locations

Basically, you need to first create a plane, and then color the plane by your desired variable. Methods to create a plane include:

Plane (you can specify three point, or one point and a normal vector), Isosurface (where you can specify x, y or z values), user surface or surface group. After constructing your surface, color it by variable, and choose the variable you would like to plot. Finally, you may toggle your view to face normal to the plane, and then turn of all the 3D faces and wireframe that might disturb your view. Then you can take a snapshot of the contour. Example given below:

Isosurface -> variable z -> Color by velocity -> turn off the walls and outlets and wireframe
