Semester Contributions

We plan to build a database of potential investors (lenders) and completed AguaClara projects. In addition to this, we plan to build or explore a computerized accounting tool that can be utilized by the community boards in Honduras to facilitate financial management and reporting.
Update
This semester, I assisted the investment teams in advancing two major objectives: create an investor database and the accounting tool that will be used by AguaClara affiliated plants. My contributions to the investor database consist creating the general format of the database as well as populating the database regarding information about each company of interest. My accounting tool contributions include researching the types of accounting tools that we might consider getting and learning how to use the tool we decided to use (Quickbooks). My other contributions include attending meetings with our faculty advisor John Foote as well as briefing our RA Natalie about our progress made during the meetings she could not attend.
