My goal this semester is to help construct the Anaerobic Fluidized Bed Reactors and troubleshoot clogging and other problems in order to achieve steady state operation and begin controlled experimentation to understand methanogenesis and COD removal in AFBs. I also would like to explore other configuration possibilities for high rate anaerobic reactors.
