This semester I will be working on the Fabrication Team to evaluate the model StaRS flow control system. The weir control system was scaled and largely fabricated last semester, and this semester I will be helping to get the system flowing in order to demonstrate the theory behind its design. Once the weir model has been fully tested I plan on assisting the other members of the Fabrication Team however I can given what I have learned so far.
Spring 2016 Contributions
This semester I have returned to AguaClara to work with the High Rate UASB Team after taking CEE 4540 last semester to learn more about the team technology. The main objectives of the High Rate UASB Team are to design and fabricate a fully fluidized UASB reactor and fine tune it in order to maximize the difference between the hydraulic and solids retention times.
