Subteams: Foam Filtration/White Paper
Spring 2015 Contributions
This semester I am a working on the Foam Filtration Pore Size team in conjunction with the Foam Filtration team. We specifically are acting on two main questions that arose on the most recent trip to Honduras:
What process can be used to determine the optimal depth of each pore size in a foam filter?
- What pore size distribution should be tested at El Carpintero?
We plan to do this by researching the efficiencies of the different pore sizes with respect to the different factors that affect filtration. In addition, we will write a report and proposal for Phase II award with the other Foam Filtration team, as well as prepare for trip to Washington in April to demonstrate the technology and compete for Phase II award.
I will also be working on the White Paper team in order to produce technical communications materials for AguaClara. We will be constructing a series of presentable materials that explain the technology and the goals of the AguaClara organization.
