ChemIT's tips and tricks
- Pick up your messages within 10 days or they will be deleted.
- Read the above cited CIT web resources to leverage the capabilities of AUDIX which best meet your needs.
- When reaching AUDIX from your own office phone (after dialing 4-4444), you can simply enter the # sign instead of first providing your 5-digit extension.
- We can't find this specific feature documented anywhere at CIT's site. If you find that documentation, please let us know. Thank you!
- When taking over another person's AUDIX, re-record the personal greeting.
AUDIX passwords
If you forget your password, or otherwise need a password reset, just let ChemIT know.
Subsequent process, from your perspective:
- ChemIT will tell you the new, temporary password. It usually is the last 4 or 5 digits of the phone number (never the full 7 digits).
- When you first log in, you will prompted to change the AUDIX password, and you must do this to continue.
- For your new password, it must be at least 6 digits. (This is longer than the temporary password you are originally provided.)
