Accomplishments

• Made contact with a sales rep at Meurer Research. They are going to quote use a price for the aluminum plates settlers that they produce.

• I pressed Victor who is the sales rep for Brentwood in Mexico to help me determine a way to get the Brentwood tube settlers from their warehouse in Mexico to Tegus Honduras.

• I also inquired if Victors Company sold any other plate or tube settlers but apparently they do not.

• I received a quote from Enviropax:

The first set of e-mails talks about three (3) basins areas 2.159 m x 14.026 m (7'-1" wide x 46'-0" long), which is 326 ft2 x 3 = 978 ft2. For our 3FT tube settlers in PVC construction this area would be about $31,500 FOB Salt Lake City, Utah. It also talk about an upflow velocity of 100 m/day, which is about 1.8 gpm/ft2. Typically we use about 2.0 gpm/ft2 for our 2FT tube settlers so this is a conservative application rate for our 3FT tube settlers.

• I have asked for information about the durability of the Enviropax tubes.

• I am going to enquire about the spacing between tubes and plates for all quoted products.
