NOTES:
You will need the LabVIEW Runtimes Engine
to use the Design Tool, and either AutoCAD or the AutoCAD viewer from AutoDesk to view your design. The viewer also has the ability to save AutoCAD drawings to previous file versions if you do not have the most recent AutoCAD version. The designs generated by the design tool need to be reviewed by a professional engineer before construction. If you are interested in using a design, please contact the design team for assistance!
The design tool is currently bilingual (Spanish and English) and we will be adding support for additional languages soon. When you download the design tool make sure to save it on your computer before running it. Do not run it without saving it to your computer.
The design tool currently returns a zipped file containing:
An AutoCAD drawing of the plant
All of the variables and their values
Text files containing AutoCAD commands that can be pasted into the AutoCAD command line
A file containing the data used by the design tool to generate the design
A draft version of a Design Specifications Document
You must supply a valid email address to receive these documents.
New: In keeping with AguaClara's philosophy of open design the Design Tool source is now available for download here. You will need updated versions of AutoCAD, LabView, and MathCad in order to use these files.
