Exercise 1: Distributed Load

Using ANSYS, find the deformation and maximum bending stress of the beam when the load is applied as a distributed load. That is, the 8 kN are applied uniformly to the beam.\
Hint: A distributed load of 8kN applied over 4m yields a line force of 2kN/m. The following small image may lead you in the right direction .
