Slopes in Floor of Flocculator

This program draws the slopes into the bottom of the floctank to provide access for the water to flow out of the valves when draining.

Technical Program Information

1) A new layer, "drainslopes," is created.

2) If the flocculator is vertical, the slopes are iteratively drawn as wedges in each channel from the channel closest to the sedimentation tank to the channel closest to the entrance tank. In the case of a horizontal flocculator, only one wedge needs to be drawn in the channel closest to the sedimentation tank. The width of the slopes are aligned with the diameter of the valves, the center of which is located at the middle of its channel. The depth of the slope into the bottom of the floctank is half of a valve diameter. The length of the slope is determined by setting the slope to 30 degrees. If the slope is long enough that it extends beyond the nearest baffle, the length is recalculated to be 5 cm away from the nearest baffle.

3) All ports are unioned if the flocculator is vertical.

4) The "floctank" layer is thawed so that it may be edited.

5) All of the slopes are subtracted in a single command from the floctank.

6) The "floctank" and "drainslopes" layers are frozen.
