Rapid Mix Chamber Design Team

Accomplishments

• Created an AutoCAD file of the design of the Rapid Mix Chamber and the Entrance Tank.
• Finalized MathCAD file for the Rapid Mixer and the Entrance Tank.
• Wrote code to determine which flow rates can be used with the LFOM.

Outcomes

• Created a decision variable to the various flow rates designed to work with the Rapid Mix Chamber Design MathCAD file to be input into the Master Design File.
• AutoCAD drawing of Rapid Mix Chamber Design has been drawn.

Issues

• Need to schedule a meeting with Design Team to familiarize them with the Rapid Mix Chamber and Entrance Tank designs.

Linear Chemical Dose Controller

• Writing section about the relationship between the Sutro Weir and the LFOM as analogs of each other.

Non-Linear Chemical Dose Controller

• Assessed the viability of various designs for the Non-Linear Dose Controller.

Issues

• Need to finalize design for the Non-Linear Chemical Doser.
