1.2.2 New
The New option (1.2) contains three options:
User: This menu item allows you to add new users to the system. Because of the way Ares interfaces with the CUL systems this option is not used.
Class: This option allows you to add a new class to the system, and associate it with a professor and semester. This menu option is for adding classes only, if a class needs to be edited please see the Edit menu in the next section.
System Alerts: This option allows you to add messages that will show up through the web interface. System Alerts can be made so that they only show to particular groups of users, individual users or everyone logging into the system. Great care should be taken if this option is used.
