Ken Brown has been a partner with One Equity Partners
since early 2002 and is currently based in Miami. OEP is the private
equity arm of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and manages $8 billion of direct
private equity investments in some 30 different portfolio companies
around the world. Previously, Brown was president of Skidmore,
Owings & Merrill LLP and corporate vice president of the General
Electric Company, where he served in regional corporate executive
and operating roles in Latin America and Southeast Asia. Brown also
spent 15 years in the mining, energy, and natural resources industry as
a vice president of Inspiration Resources Corporation, senior manager
in the consulting division of Price Waterhouse, and senior engineering
manager at Science Applications International.
