Static Structural Analysis System

The problem at hand is a steady-state thermal static structural problem so drag Steady-State Thermal Static Structural (ANSYS) over to the project schematic. Rename the stand alone system to "Cylindrical Heat FlowVM82LaminatePlate".

Engineering Data

In order to enter the thermal conductivity for Cornellium (Double Click) Engineering Data. Next, click on the Click here to add a new material, then name it Cornellium and press enter. Now, (Double Click) Isotropic Thermal Conductivity. Change, the Unit to BTU/(ft^2 hr(F/ft)). Then, input 0.04 for Value and lastly (Click) Return to Project.
