Motivation and Objectives
The Outreach Team is a vital and unique part of AguaClara that allows engineering and non-engineering majors to focus their attention on funding and promoting the organization. Through the efforts of the Outreach Team, AguaClara has been able is attempting to sustain itself financially while publicizing and promoting its achievements and seeking contacts to further its mission.
The goals of the Outreach Team include raising awareness of AguaClara both in the Cornell and Ithaca community, and raising funds to build plants and support those working for AguaClara in Honduras and to conduct research on campus, and to recruit recruiting new team members. The Outreach Team is constantly looking for new funding opportunities to expand on campus research.
The team is also responsible for establishing processes, precedents, and standards for future outreach team members by documenting procedures and methods which make it easier for future members to continue the tasks of fundraising, recruiting and creating awareness.The Outreach Team is divided into two subgroups
