This semester, I am was part of the Chemical Safety research team. Our goal for this semester is to create We created a chemical safety training materials presentation to be used in the plants in Honduras. We will research the chemicals used in the plants and write a chemical safety guide that will supplement already existing materials. Included in this presentation is information regarding first aid measures, storage and transportation of chemicals, and personal protective equipment. I was responsible for translating all of this information into Spanish for the presentation. I also created one of the two posters we made to demonstrate the proper use of PPE in the plant.
