This plant plays a vital role to the growth of Aguaclara technologies. It serves as a good educational tool and is widely used by Aguaclara to promote itself across communities. It shows all the unit processes to help people understand what AguaClara is about.

I teamed up with Thalia Aaoki to design the sedimentation tank for the demo plant. We based our design on the ENGRI 1131 class work to construct a sedimentation tank that successfully creates a floc blanket. I helped fabricating the sedimentation tank by cutting down the pvc tube to fit into the new 80/20 frame for the plant, and adjusting water flow through the plant. I also helped in doing Capture velocity and headloss calculations for drafting our final report.
