In Fall 2011 Semester, I have been a part of the demo plant team which along with my team mates Breann and Muhammad. This plant plays a vital role to the growth of Aguaclara technologies. It serves as a good educational tool and is widely used by Aguaclara to promote itself across communities. It shows all the unit processes to help people understand what AguaClara is about.
This semester we incorporated an LFOM, and a dose controller to the old demo plant and conducted experimental methods to test the flow rate versus water depth. I helped in drafting Research reports by doing some math cad calculations and also during the fabrication of both LFOM and dose controller.
We are also planning to fabricate and incorporate a Stacked rapid sand filter and a sedimentation tank in the next semester.
