  • Always put due dates on everything. People are much more likely to remember to take care of tasks and assignments if they have a set/concrete deadline.
  • Send out emails no more than once a week or else people stop reading them.
    • Write reminder digests especially if it's a busy week. Include all the dates and upcoming deadlines for the week, plus put in reminders and a link for students to check the syllabus. Continually remind the team that our schedule is not regular (we don't meet on all the same days every week) and it is their responsibility to check the syllabus.
  • Give people as much feedback as possible. AguaClara students work hard and they deserve to know if they are headed in the right direction so always work with Monroe to give valuable feedback on wiki reports.
  • If you need to book rooms in Hollister, ask Christine Day in the CEE office. If you need to book rooms in Accel, you can do it online at the Accel website. Do this as soon as you know you need a room because they book up early.
  • Confirm that all outside speakers are still coming the day before by emailing them.
