- Put together the system with larger tubes and drilled out the necessary parts
- Emailed Cameron and requested a web cam for the sand filter.
- Finished the teach-in presentation
- Started to revise the research proposal and detailed task list.
- Started working on midterm wiki.
- Worked with Matt on the leaking problem (See Issues below).
- Emailed Monroe about the leaking problem.
Issues
- Clogging in the sand filter needs to be addressed
- Leaks in the system due to fitting/connector issues near pumps, may be due to pressure in the lines.

- Fix clogging problem/find a minimum expansion for which clogging doesn't happen and use a greater expansion for subsequent experiments.
