Project title: Cornell University Sustainable Design (CUSD)
Brief description of project:
In an effort involving students from every College at Cornell, Cornell University Sustainable (CUSD) is a Cornell student project team that is the creative force behind a number of sustainability projects that you could be a part of including:
- Design and building of a new sustainably focused school in Ghana in Africa
- Creation of a novel remote occupancy sensing HVAC controls system, potentially seeking a patent this year, and already selected to be implemented in the Upson Hall
- Design and building of a "next generation" bus stop to improve public transportation
- Working with the Smithsonian National Zoo on new composting solutions
- Investigating new window solutions as a remodeling option to improve building efficiency
- Investigation into new CUSD projects
- Plus potentially more!
Come to our information sessions listed below to learn more about these projects and other CUSD. Students from ALL MAJORS WELCOME.
Course Credit and/or M-Eng Project credit are available. Undergraduate and Graduate Students are Welcomed.
