    1. Gabriel will install LabStats 5 & LabStats 6 clients on all machines by the end of next week (rolling it out – didn't catch the full schedule)

    2. Gabriel will send Nick a heads up once he has the client installed on some of the machines
    3. LabStats 6 also give us access to raw data and reports

  3. Consultation Area display (Tobi & Nick)
    1. signage has been in place since the second week of classes
    2. currently includes 4 desks, but CSCU to be added soon
    3. also rumored that a grad student writing service will be added to the mix
    4. team had feedback on closing time display – some confusion. Tobi is going to ask Camille about running usability testing
  4. Suma status (Nick)
    1. Chris Manly has finished initial setup of our new virtual machine (VM)
    2. Nick now has access and will install the latest version of Suma (we're running a very old version) and migrate data
    3. Nick has been in touch with core Suma team at NCSU and they are excited about collaborating with us
      1. Nick will build a prototype based on Sara and Tobi's sketches and share with NCSU
  5. Makerspace grant status
    1. working with William Paterson University (WPU) and James Madison University (JMU)

    2. putting together proposal for $300k ($302k)

    3. preliminary proposals are due Oct 1

      1. should find out sometime in early-mid Dec

    4. if you get through that, full proposal is due Jan 15

    5. if ours is accepted we would find out in March

    6. includes funding to integrate with faculty and course offering

    7. equipment – 3d printing lab

      1. multiple printers (capable of different materials)

      2. dedicated computer for 3d printing

      3. new space in the library

      4. also includes a digital lathe/CNC

      5. handheld scanners

    8. WPU submitted this last year and got good feedback

      1. just needed to partner/collaborate with other institutions so they put out a call that Sara responded to
