New library employees will receive the following:

  1. Email with a link to a new employee welcome packet presentation.
  2. Within the first two weeks of employment, a meeting will be scheduled by Library Human Resources to welcome new employees to the Cornell University Library system. At this meeting, new employees will receive a personal welcome and reaffirm that our office is available as a resource. They will also get an overview of Workday basics, Payroll and time collection, and other items related to CUL culture.
  3. If the employee is being hired into a supervisory role, Library Human Resources will evaluate their supervisory experience level. If needed, individuals should register for the Supervisor Development Program in CU-Learn.
