Michael Hint's write-up following Chem's staff's Office 365 migration.
- OWA backdoor to access EGA’s does not work in O365 ( for example: https://exchange.cornell.edu/owa/crcf@cornell.edu worked, but this does not work as https://outlook.cornell.edu/owa/crcf@cornell.edu ). Chuck Boehim indicates this was not expected but not a priority.
- iOS devices when connecting to O365 OWA outlook.cornell.edu get a lite edition of OWA and can’t seem to get the full graphical edition necessary to change over to another mailbox.
- Users who prefer the lite edition of OWA can downgrade themselves in O365 OWA by going to settings and turning on the blind/low-vision experience. Once set, user always gets lite edition of OWA from every device, but the user is free to revert back. Lite OWA has EGA restriction as described above.
- From working with someone we support we were reminded of the how bad Eudora IMAP is and how much of a pain it is. But at least Bomgar works with PowerPC (very old Mac).
