CNF Computing runs Windows10 computers. As of 2022, Windows 10 v21H2 is the deployed version of Windows10.

As a user at CNF, in addition to your AFS fileserver and CNF Thin login accounts, you have a Windows login account – either a Cornell NetID or a Cornell GuestID. With your Window login, you have access to CNF printers, your AFS filespace, and programs installed on the CNF Windows computers.

Please see the (Virtual) CAD Rm page for changes to all Windows workstations and data storage.

Logins have changed for the CAD Rm and Clean Rm Windows PCs.

Files are no longer automatically stored in AFS.

To keep your private data private, logout of Windows by choosing "Log Off" from the Start menu.
