        I was on the plate settler capture velocity research team this semester, worked with Ruonan Zhang and Xiaocan Sun to run the demo plant with different operating settings in order to study how those conditions influence turbidity removal performance, and also to find the sweet point for a real AguaClara plant. We ran a wide range of alum dose (from 0.5 mg/L to 3mg/L), as well as capture velocity (from 0.05 mm/s to 0.3 mm/s), and analyze obtained data by comparison on log 10 scale, which is more fair.
