"Semester" Contributions

I set up the preparations required to start working and developing measurements related to Floc Size Measurement. Literature research was done to model our experiments and equipment. The camera possessed was tested to evaluate its capacity by a Pixel Size Measurement. It did not performed well enough, so a new camera was acquired. The flow would have to go through a special cell so that good quality photos could be taken. Thus, a flow cell was designed as a rectangular fused quartz glass section in order to ensure good optical properties for image acquisition. A cuvette would be adapted as the flow cell because it fits the previous requirements. Its bottom would be removed and its ends melted and fused with a round tube with almost the same size so that the cell could be inserted into the system.
