Fall 2008 Contributions

I am a member of the Design Team. For the first part of the semester I worked on some experimental designs for the Gracias community, since it will be the first plant we build of that large size; it will be about 6 times larger than previous plants. Lots of work was done with trying to design the sedimentation tank slopes, with many versions being created. My part in those versions was limited. I did however play a larger role in designing the new Sedimentation Tank Slopes program. This algorithm will most likely change next semester and so its description will not be uploaded this semester. I have also helped make minor adjustments to the autocad drawings, specifically the baffles and lamina, and those can be found on the sourceforge. Most of my work towards the end of the semester was finalizing the design for Cuatro Communidades and documenting design program algorithms as listed on our semester goals page.
