Summer 2014

I am a member of the laminar/turbulent tube flocculation team. This summer, I will be implementing PID control in the clay dosing system for the laminar tube flocculator. I will also creating a system that takes in various inputs such as pressure and temperature in order to control the hot and cold water valves pouring into the tubes. I will be testing the effectiveness of both these self regulating systems for the laminar and turbulent tube flocculator. As a member of this team, I plan on running several experiments on the laminar tube flocculator with increasing dosages of PACl to find the ideal concentration.
