I am on the Village Supply team this semester. In this team, I work on pump design sub-team. 

I have planed a detailed task list for the whole semester with my teammates. Following the task list, I did the literature review, which provided useful information and a good direction about how to start the project. In order to determine a proper photovoltaic and pump system, I did a lot of research about characteristics of the two potential options: One is dividing the power between the two pumps, and another one is diverting all the power to one pump.  I made a multi-criteria decision analysis to compare two pump system and one pump system and then make a decision about which one the team need to choose. I did calculations about sizing proper pumps and solar panels, and determined number of solar panels the team need to use.  I also did the cost analysis of our system with my team member.
