Spring 2010 Contributions

My main project this semester was to work with an engineering communications team to design a new website for the AguaClara Team.  The website was designed to help inform the public about AguaClara and to keep interested parties updated on AguaClara's progress.  Some of the key features of the site are the recent news feed, the student spotlight, and the design tool page.  Using Google translate, the website can be easily translated into almost any language, further expanding the possible audience that the AguaClara message can reach.  The site is also set up so the the wiki can be easily accessed from the home page.

I also worked this semester with Will Maher to organize and publicize for the "Rock for Honduras" benefit concert on April 22, 2010.  The concert was a huge success that helped to raise $460 for APP.

Lastly, I helped to distribute a press release about the Dose Controller team's success at the P3 competition to the Ithaca Times and the Ithaca Journal.
