Spring 2012 Contributions

As a member of the Foam Filtration team, I helped to write and submit a grant proposal for the EPA's P3 competition. We scaled up the previous foam filter design for an emergency use or local kiosk application. The pilot-scale prototype has been constructed and is currently being tested and improved. We will be presenting our findings to the EPA this spring and we hope to win a monetary prize to support future efforts of AguaClara.
