Spring 2016 Contributions

I will be working with the Microbiological Water Safety Monitoring sub-team for the spring 2016 semester. As part of this team I will be conducting research into various methods of testing the pathogen content of water in an effort to develop a fast, low-cost, low-resource test to measure the microbiological safety of water treated by AguaClara plants. No previous research by AguaClara on developing this specific type of test exists as the MWSM sub-team is new this semester. Despite this, my goal is to begin carrying out experiments on either existing testing methods or on a prototype of a new test by the end of this semester.
