Spring 2012 Contributions

This semester, I will be working on a team to develop a Low Flow Flocculator and analyzing the feasibility of using a venturi to add Floc Recycle to the AguaClara plants. The low flow flocculator will allow AguaClara to provide clean water to a larger scope of communities. We will analyze various flocculator designs to determine the most effective. For the floc recycle, we will research design parameters needed for a venturi, apply these constraints to those present within the AguaClara plant and construct a model to both test the design and determine feasible construction techniques.
