I am Anqi Wang, an Environmental Engineering student from Beijing, China.
Now I am working in Village Supply System team. Our subteam is about the photovoltaic and pump system design. Our goal is to improve the design by considering economic boundaries while still be efficiently providing clean water.
Fall 2014 Contributions
At the beginning of this semester, I created a detailed task list for the pump design subteam with my teammates. During the semester, I did literature review, which gave us a lot of information on our topics. Also, I looked through the research papers from other universities and helped the team to decide which PV cell we supposed to use. Based on the knowledge we learnt from lecture, I created MathCad file to help the team calculate the data we needed. At last I did the cost analysis for your PV pump system with my teammates.
