Design Team
I am a member of the Design Team working on automating Section Cuts in AutoCAD to allow users to obtain multiple views of existing drawings so that they are able to better visualize and understand the plants.
Spring 2015
StaRS Filter Injection and Extraction (FInE) Team
I am a member of the Stacked Rapid Sand Filtration Flow Injection and Extraction (FInE) Team. The main goal of this subteam is to explore and design alternative inlet and outlet pipes using gravity sand exclusion theory for the stacked rapid sand filter in order to replace the current slotted pipes which are prone to clogging (especially if the water from the sedimentation tanks isn’t very clean). The new design will be tested in the lab to determine more optimal specifications.
